Day 4

Tuesday began bright and early with a team breakfast. We attempted to make pancakes and scrambled eggs. They turned out edible... but snaps to Brenna for her hard work. Making pancakes on a gas stove that is flamming hot (literally) and having to use oil without a nonstick pan, talk about a new experience. We all enjoyed it!

The boys headed off the mens prison...(no women allowed)
Schaun preaching at the mens prison and preparing for baptisms.
12 men were baptized, 2 of which were death row inmates. I love the oil drum idea for baptism! Luckily Thai men are generally smaller!

Paul and all the boys gave their testimonies with Anjan Ed interpreting for them.

That afternoon we all went to a girls teenage drug/rehab facility.

Paul about to enter the gate...

Sang La speaking to the girls. 5 of the Abba house girls came with us and provided skits and songs. They are amazing girls. It was great to see them interact with the girls and then at the end of our time we handed out gifts/snacks for the girls at the drug/rehab facility.

Kimberly with several of the young girls at the facility.

Later that evening we head back to Abba House and play games with the girls and then focus on english teaching for the evening.

Always fun with a good game of volleyball... but the ball was really hard and boy did my arms hurt.
